What you need to know to attend:
LSHA has the Wimberly Room in the State Capitol from 11:00am-2:00pm.
There are metal detectors at the entrances much like you encounter at the airport - DO NOT bring anything in which will be confiscated or otherwise trigger the machines. Do not bring guns.
You must have a photo ID to enter (driver's license or passport).
There are multiple public parking areas nearby.

Student Involvement
LSHA's student members are strongly encouraged to attend this year's Day at the Capitol. The first 45 students to RSVP will receive a FREE t-shirt to wear.
The LSHA Student Housing Scholarship application is now open. This scholarship was designed to support students pursing a degree in speech-language pathology or audiology by alleviating the financial burden of hotel accommodations to attend LSHA's Day at the Capitol May 9, 2024.
