During the 2022-2023 LSHA Board year, the LSHA Board of Directors unanimously voted to decrease barriers to increase engagement in LSHA activities for students in Communication Sciences & Disorders and Audiologic Sciences. These changes went into effect for the 2023-2024 LSHA Board year with free student membership and free basic registration to the Annual Convention.
CHANGES TO THE 2024-2025 STUDENT MEMBERSHIP
- *FREE* Student Membership to LSHA for Louisiana graduate and undergraduate students in speech pathology and audiology with a university email address
- *FREE* Annual Convention registration for Louisiana graduate and undergraduate students in speech pathology and audiology (business luncheon attendance available at a small additional charge)
- Student membership does not include continuing education units.
- Continued Student Track at the Annual Convention
- Increased opportunities for student engagement throughout the year - lobbying, mentorship
- 50% discount off annual dues for the Clinical Fellowship Year(s)
